The NFT search volume on Google is close to Bitcoin
Over the past year, NFT has been hailed as a vehicle for transforming the arts, music and game industry, an indispensable element of the future digital world, a transient whim, and crazy manipulation of people's minds and wallets.
Regardless of this, data on search queries in Google shows that interest has not only not faded away but is also moving towards a new record. Interest in this keyword has demonstrated uneven growth over the past year.
After Dogecoin, NFT Google searches near Bitcoin
NFT's search volume on Google has surpassed the leading memecoin, Dogecoin, although the latter managed to capture the imagination of investors around the world. NFT's search traffic has approached bitcoin traffic and may challenge the word "crypto".
The search volume appeared to decrease in September. However, as the markets rallied, so did the numbers. The growing Google search traffic for NFT is indicative that the industry has the attention of retail.
Interestingly, NFT's search traffic is dominated by China, although an official from the People's Bank of China recently warned of money laundering risks.
Singapore, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and South Korea are among the top ten countries by request, except for Asian countries. A high position in Venezuela's ranking can be noted, which is explained by the increased popularity of blockchain and NFT games.
